Staying connected to your child’s learning
All of our teachers have been advised to use appropriate platforms for virtual learning environments as identified by the Board (e.g., Google Sites, Google Classrooms, and/or BrightSpace) or by using HDSB approved software. Please reach out to your teachers directly through email if you have questions or concerns.
Midterm report cards
There will be no midterm report cards. Graduating grade 12 students will receive midterm marks and these marks will be shared with colleges and universities as appropriate. All secondary students will receive final report cards in June 2020. Additional messaging will be sent home to all families with more details in reference to reporting guidelines.

TA Blakelock Students and Distance Learning
TAB students have been advised to continue their learning at home using different online forums including those that they had been using with our TAB teachers such as G Suite for Education, Brightspace online classroom, and myBlueprint. At this time, we would like to remind all our students, families, staff and community that we have a shared responsibility to maintain a positive school climate (virtually) in which all members of the school community feel safe, included, accepted, and actively promote positive behaviours and interactions. We also ask that everyone continue to practice digital citizenship. Digital citizenship encompasses a broad range of knowledge, skills and attitudes among students, staff, administration and parents/guardians about Internet usage. Numerous resources are available to all schools to support digital citizenship including the Board's Responsible Use Procedures for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) use in schools - click here.
