Mark Bramer
Mark is currently a Professor of Wood Technology at Conestoga College in Kitchener. He is a master cabinetmaker and began his career working in the wood industry in both small custom shops and also one of Canada's largest production facilities. His expertise led him to developing training which eventually led him to teaching at the University of British Columbia and Conestoga College.
Mark is an integral part of Skills Canada and coached a Canadian competitor to the Gold Medal in the World Skills competition. He has won teaching and research awards and has authored a textbook used in secondary school wood curriculum. Mark is currently writing the curriculum for the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology Apprenticeship Program for the government of Alberta.
