Summer Appointments
For the summer start up and the first week of the 2019-20 school year, 
our online booking system will be offline. 
If you have any questions or want to book an appointment for August, 
please call our Guidance Secretary, Mrs. Manchisi, at 905-827-1158 Ext. 229.  

During the last week of August 2019, the following will apply:

  • Students new to TAB will be given Guidance appointments first.
  • Students who attend Summer School will be seen in August to change their timetables.
  • Students who were unsuccessful with a course in June may book an appointment during this time.
  • Students who do not have prerequisite courses may book an appointment during this time.
  • Grades 9 to 11 students with an empty period in their timetable may make an appointment to select an additional course as students in these grades must have 8 scheduled courses.
  • Grade 11 & 12 students with course request changes due to post-secondary pathway changes may book an appointment to meet with their Counsellor to make these necessary changes.

Please note: There will be no changes to Semester 1 timetables after September 10, 2019. In addition, timetables will not be changed for students requesting a different teacher.

Current students in need of an official transcript are asked to see Mr. Manchisi in Student Services.

Community Volunteer Hours
There are many volunteer opportunities listed in the Volunteer Binder in Student Services.  We also post many opportunities the school's Instagram's feed @blakelocktigers as well as our Morning Announcements and the bulletin board outside the cafeteria.  Students can also check out the opportunities available through

Grade 12 students must have their 40 hours of Community Involvement 
completed (and submitted) by April 1, 2020.

NOTE: Student Timetables and attendance are accessible through the Parent Portal.  The student's Halton Student Number and birthday is required to access this information.  Halton Student Numbers are located on the Student ID Card.
