December 6: National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women In 1991, the Parliament of Canada declared December 6th to be the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.  The day now represents a time to reflect on the phenomenon of violence against women in our society. It is also a day for communities and individuals to speak out against all forms of violence against women and its impact on victims and their families and friends.  Please help World Council honour these women by donating gently used clothing to SafetyNet a local charity that helps families in need. This is so important especially at this time of year. We will accept your donations until Friday, December 9th. Bring in your donations to the main office in the Red Box. Girls Volleyball Tonight right after school in our Big Gym the Girls Volleyball Teams are taking on Georgetown in their home opener for the season.  Come on out and cheer them to victory.  Go Tigers!
