Spike Ball

Hey Blakelock Seniors… Come on out during our 3rd period lunch and join us in the large gym to play Spike Ball! It’s a fun way to be active and have fun with friends. We will teach newcomers how to play this fun game, so don’t worry about not knowing how to play. Hope to see you there!

HotDocs Film Festival - Library

Come to the  library on Friday, April 26th during periods 3 and 4 to watch an engaging documentary as part of the HotDocs Festival.  We will be showing a documentary about the first all-girls’ school in a small Afghan village. Popcorn will be available to purchase.  Please come to the library to sign up as seating is limited.

Prom Tickets

Attention all grade 12 students, please make sure to pick up your Prom ticket today during period 3 from the caf, if you haven’t done so. We need to arrange all dietary accommodations and seating arrangements by the end of  today. Also, please make sure your forms are signed in order to attend Prom. If you have any questions, please see Mlle El-Sedfy.

Junior Wellness Meeting

Good morning Tigers.  This is a message for all Junior Wellness Club members as a reminder  that our meeting this week will be on WEDNESDAY this week … TOMORROW and NOT today in W207.  Looking forward to seeing you all there TOMORROW to continue creating the TAB UNITY RAINBOW. New members are always  welcomed!

Clothing Swap

Is unworn clothing taking up space in your closet? Refresh your wardrobe by bringing in your clothing or a donation to participate in TAB’s first Clothing Swap. The Wellness team will be in the T on period 3 lunch the week before the swap to accept clothing or donations. The Clothing Swap will take place on May 1st in room S118 and all proceeds will go to the Clean Clothes Campaign which fights for improving working conditions in the clothing industry.

Senior Wellness Meeting
There will be no Senior Wellness meetings this week, but we will resume on Tuesday, April 30th. Please be in S118 on Period 3 on the 30th Seniors. It is an important meeting. Have a great short week!
Math League Contest
Attention all Mathletes! The next installment of the Math League contest will be taking place TODAY during lunch. The Senior Contest will start at 11:30 AM in E204. The Junior Contest will start at 12:45 PM in E203. Please bring a pencil and a calculator. See you there!

Student council is pleased to announce our annual blood drive in partnership with Canadian Blood Services will be held on May 1st at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community Center.  Shuttle busses will be available to transport students with completed permission slips to the blood drive at 12:45 and 1:45. Transportation home after the blood drive is to be arranged by students.  Permission forms are in the main office please return to the main office once complete. Please be sure to indicate your preferred time of departure from TAB, thank you.
