Program Information
Students taking the half-day (2 credit) program may be scheduled in the morning or afternoon.
Students Must link their Co-op credits to a course already completed or currently being taken at school. For example, a student working at a bank will link their Co-op credits to a Business course.
For the first two weeks of the program, students attend in-school classes. Curriculum topics include resume writing, interview techniques, Human Rights, Health and Safety, Employment Standards and Personal Discovery interest inventories.
The Out-of-School Component
Once students start the out-of-school experience they will return to school for in-class integration sessions throughout the semester. Curriculum includes reflection, time management, stress management, unions, employability skills and future trends
